Mr. Edward Galapopo, Founder and CEO of Edgap Sports, is a seasoned professional with deep roots in the world of sports. Driven by a passion for innovation and a talent for transforming sporting projects into success stories, he is committed to breaking new ground and making a lasting impact in the field.

Edward’s extensive experience spans various facets of soccer, including player engagements, coaching, and community sports development. With a Bachelor's degree in Economics, he has also gained valuable exposure across diverse sectors such as oil and gas, youth soccer coaching, and civil service in Delta State, Nigeria, before voluntarily transitioning to pursue new opportunities.

Edward has had a distinguished career in soccer management and administration, significantly contributing to the development of soccer in Delta State, Nigeria. He played pivotal roles in Delta United F.C., which later metamorphosed into Warri Wolves F.C., both owned by the Delta State government. His roles included Secretary General, Welfare Manager, and Team Manager for these teams.

Additionally, he founded Polavis Global Resources F.C., directed grassroot youth soccer initiatives, and served as Organizing Secretary for the Delta State Sports Council.  Complementing his extensive experience, Edward holds an NFA/CAF Intermediate Administrative Certificate, a Basic Certificate and Diploma in Sports Management from the National Institute of Sport (NIS), Lagos Nigeria and a Diploma in Community Support Work from East West College, Alberta Canada. His leadership, organizational skills, and dedication to sports have left a lasting impact on the soccer landscape in Nigeria. 

A well-traveled individual, Edward has worked in the USA and later relocated to Canada, bringing with him a wealth of knowledge and global perspective. Through Edgap Sports, he seeks to address the aspirations of young athletes, creating a solid foundation for them to realize their potential and achieve greatness in the sporting world. Under his leadership, Edgap Sports is poised to bridge the gap for youth dreaming of a pathway to stardom.
